Disclaimer & Terms of Participation

These terms apply to all exercise-to-music classes that may be led by Eve Packwood, either independently or on behalf of Aurora Dance Collective (hereafter referred to as ADC). This includes, but is not limited to, Zumba Fitness® (including Zumba Gold®), GroovX Flow®, Latin Dance Fitness, Back to the Old School Hi-Lo Aerobics, and Body Pump. These classes will be referred to as the sessions.

The sessions are a fun and effective way to improve fitness, but I understand they involve physical exertion that can be strenuous and may cause injury or even death. I fully accept the risks involved. These terms apply whether I participate in person or online.

I understand I am strongly advised to consult with my healthcare provider and get medical clearance before taking part. I confirm that I am physically fit and have no medical conditions that would prevent full participation. I take part entirely at my own risk.

In exchange for being allowed to join the sessions, I accept full responsibility for any injury, damage (known or unknown), or loss I may experience. This includes any damage to property or personal belongings during participation, whether online or in person.

If participating online, I understand it is my responsibility to ensure I am fit and well, that my space is safe and free from hazards, and that I am wearing appropriate clothing and footwear.

I acknowledge that Eve Packwood, ADC, and any instructors teaching for or on behalf of ADC are not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damage sustained by participants, guests, or their property, whether directly or indirectly related to the sessions. This includes anyone attending the venue with or without invitation.

This is a legally binding Release, Waiver, Discharge, and Covenant Not to Sue. By signing it, I release Eve Packwood, ADC, and all authorized instructors from liability for any injury, death, property damage, or loss resulting from my voluntary participation in the sessions. This agreement is made by me and on behalf of my heirs, executors, administrators, and legal representatives.

I consent to the instructor storing and using my contact information as needed for providing the agreed services and fulfilling any related legal obligations.

I confirm I have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to this waiver and release of liability. I understand I am giving up substantial legal rights, including the right to sue. My signature on paper or completion of an online PARQ form confirms that this agreement remains valid for the duration of my participation in sessions with Eve Packwood.
